Eileen Fitzpatrick, a Director of Australia's first credit union, Universal Credit Union, has sadly passed away, aged 99. Our thoughts are with Miss Fitzpatrick's friends and family.

We've hit the 1,000 mark!

One thousand images have now been scanned by the volunteer team working on our photography digitisation project. The ACUA collections include historic photographs of early Australian Credit Union Movement meetings, portraits of high profile members of the Movement and the credit union sector, as well as images recording branch premises and technology, staff members and industry conventions. Once the digitisation process has been completed, the images will be made available online, enabling wide-spread access to this fascinating historic resource.
